Only Breath was written for Transient Canvas. The piece is for clarinet in Bb and marimba. They will be premiering the piece on Nextet concert at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas on Monday, November 18th at 7:30pm in Doc Rando Hall.

UNLV Nextet series concert
Amethyst Sunset (2019) was inspired by the beautiful sunsets on the Whitney Mesa Trail in the Las Vegas area (Henderson, NV). It was commissioned by pianists Olga Shupyatskaya and Futaba Niekawa, and the recording featuring them is released on Innova Recordings on the album “Reflections at Dusk.”
Great review of “Of Maker and Movement” performed by Clocks in Motion last week: “The simple, yet detailed beauty of the sounds, some motoric, others melodic, was arresting”… Bellor writes ravishingly and imaginatively for percussion.”
