Awakening (2011) was premiered by organist Thatcher Lyman on the Craighead-Saunders organ at Christ Church. Awakening is a fantasy using the song I wrote setting the poem “Juliet’s Aubade” by E. Louise Beach to music. In the middle of the piece, Thatcher sings an excerpt from the song.
